FIGHTING MACHINISTS

JOIN US TO SUPPORT RAISING THE MINIMUM WAGE

Earlier this week, Long Beach City leaders announced that they are taking the first steps to raising the minimum wage. This is HUGE, and it’s another city that’s stepping up in the fight for working men and women.

Long Beach is a boomtown, with both big industry and small businesses thriving, yet almost 40 percent of Long Beach workers earn less than $15 an hour, at a time when the cost of living has exploded.

We need to make sure the communities in our own backyard aren’t left behind, sonext Tuesday the Raise the Wage coalition will be hosting a rally prior to the the first Long Beach minimum wage hearing.

Let’s ensure #AllofLA gets the raise it deserves and desperately needs!
